Fostering growth through inclusive equine-assisted programs for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities and underserved communities.

Inclusive Riding Lessons

At Riding The Spectrum, our inclusive riding lessons are designed to empower individuals with autism, developmental disabilities and underserved communities through the unique connection between horse and rider. Each session is tailored to support a wide range of needs—fostering physical coordination, emotional resilience, communication skills, and confidence.

Riders engage in purposeful, structured activities in a welcoming, sensory-friendly environment. Whether through private lessons for focused attention or small groups that encourage social growth, our approach blends professional guidance with genuine joy and trust.

We believe that every stride taken in the saddle is a step toward greater self-expression, independence, and belonging.

Private, Semi-Private and Small Group Lessons: $100

Programs At Riding The Spectrum

Our Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) program at Riding The Spectrum, is a hands-on, relationship-based experience that fosters personal growth and life skills through purposeful, ground-based interactions with horses. At Riding The Spectrum, we create a supportive, sensory-aware space where participants of all abilities—especially those with autism and similar disabilities—can engage in activities that promote communication, problem-solving, self-regulation, and confidence.

Through structured lessons led by compassionate instructors, individuals learn to observe, connect, and collaborate—with the horse, the team, and themselves. Horses respond honestly and without judgment, offering immediate feedback that helps build emotional insight and social understanding.

This program is ideal for those who benefit from experiential learning in a calm, non-riding environment. Whether practiced one-on-one or in small groups, EAL supports participants in building meaningful skills that carry into everyday life—at school, at home, and in the community.

90-minute EAL Session: $100

Riding The Spectrum has given my daughter a sense of confidence and joy I hadn’t seen before. She lights up every time she’s with the horses. The program’s gentle, sensory-aware approach has helped her connect, communicate, and thrive in ways we never imagined possible.

This has been life-changing for both my child and me. Watching him grow in confidence, connection, and joy through his time with the horses has been nothing short of magical. The staff’s understanding and gentle approach made me feel supported as a parent, too. Like we’d finally found a place where our journey was truly seen and celebrated.
